6/13 - 6/15/02 Steve Watson & Ed McCaffrey Celebrity Golf
Classic. Fund raiser hosted by former Denver Bronco All-Pro
wide receivers Watson and current All-Pro wide receiver McCaffrey
with local celebrity participants.
6/15 - 8/3/02 National Repertory Orchestra(NRO) Concert Season.
Opening Concert - Begins at 7:30 p.m. Pieces include Strauss -
Don Juan and Rachmaninoff - Symphony #2. 7:30PM. Call 970-547-3100

6/28 - 6/30/02 18th Annual Genuine Jazz Festival. Jazz's
best come together for a great mix of hot music and cool temperatures
set amid the picturesque Rocky Mountains. Free daytime performances
on the Maggie Pond's floating stage and romantic nighttime performances
at various nightclubs.
7/4 - 7/7/02 19th Annual Breckenridge July Art Festival.
Annually ranked one of the nation's finest shows with 135 artists
and crafts people from throughout the U.S. Located at the Wellington
and East Sawmill lots on North Main Street from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

7/4/02 - Independence Day - Daytime festivities include
a Main Street parade, free concerts at the Riverwalk Center, food,
games, kids events and activities. At night, catch a free patriotic
pops concert followed by a fantastic fireworks show over town.
7/12/02 - Breckenridge Music Institute(BMI) Gala. The
"Midsummer Feast" will be held at Beaver Run Resort.

7/17 - 7/18/02 - Hell in the High Country Bike Race. This
race features cross-country, downhill and observed trials mountain
bike racing as part of the Spirit of the Rockies Mountain Bike
Race Series. There are multiple start times and the race begins
at the Middle Fork of the Swan River.
8/10/02 - Saturn Cycling Classic. Over 100 Pro Riders
leave Boulder to climb five mountain passes and arrive in Breckenridge
to a reception and activities including competitive and recreational
rides. Throughout the day, watch the women's criterion and other
activities. Presented by the Town of Breckenridge and the Breckenridge
Resort Chamber.
8/17 - 8/18/02. 4th Annual Mountain 15s Rugby Tournament.
The Gentlemen of the Blue Goose Rugby Club in Breckenridge present
the 4th Annual Mountain 15's. Teams comes from all over Colorado
to compete in this two day long tournament. This year sees a team
coming from Scotland to see if they can topple last year's victors,
Aspen. There will be a bbq and drinks served all day. Followed
by the Saturday night "Pig Roast" party. For more information

8/31 - 9/2/02. 27th Gathering at the Great Divide Art Show.
A nationally recognized juried art show that brings remarkable
artists and artisans from throughout the nation to Breckenridge.
Located in the Wellington and East Sawmill Parking lots on North
Main Street.
8/31 - 9/1/02 - Adventure Sports Festival. A weekend destination
festival centered in Breckenridge featuring kayaking, climbing,
mountain biking, fly fishing and other adventure sports clinics
with elite athletes and top instructors. Daily and evening entertainment.
Tackle the Blue River Run & Roll 5k on foot, wheelchair or
bike!
9/12 - 9/15/02 - Breckenridge Festival of Film. This 22-year
Breckenridge tradition brings exceptional premieres, indie films
and talent to town in a uniquely affordable and accessible venue.
The 4-day festival takes place during the days and evenings at

9/21 - 9/22/02 - Oktoberfest. A weekend-long festival
along Main Street with Bavarian food, German beer, lederhosen
and oompah music.
